2009 ECANZ Challenge Finals

21 Jul 2009

The ECANZ Challenge is an electrical industry initiative to find the most outstanding apprentice with a flair for either domestic/commercial or industrial work.

Olex was proud to be one of the major sponsors for the 2009 ECANZ Challenge and was pleased to be able to provide all the required cable for both the Semi's (held in April) and the recent Finals.

The three-day final competition took place in Christchurch at the Addington Raceway from Wednesday 15 July to Friday 17 July 2009.

Twelve finalists from across the country competed in one of two categories - Domestic/Commercial or Industrial.  The competitors were judged on their practical skills, interview technique, problem solving, CV, first aid, pricing and programming aspects.
